Wow, it’s 2021! I was a little hesitant to do my normal resolutions this year, as things have changed significantly from what I typically think of (A previous resolution was to “Host more parties.” That is no longer a priority). I think that every small thing that I did for myself helped me through the hard times of last year, so I am resolving to do more acts of self-care this year. I’ve created a list of all the things that I find enjoyable, and thought that it would be worth sharing in case you are in need of some ideas. I’m ready to take this year at a slower pace than usual and remember all the little moments along the way.
Here are 21 resolutions for 2021:
2. Pick up a new hobby – Tennis sounds like fun!
3. Write down my thoughts and goals
4. Spend a day in nature
5. Get organized and give away items that no longer serve me
6. Make a really decadent dessert
7. Take designated breaks from social media
8. Light some candles and have a self-care night
9. Get inspired by new artists
10. Take time to have fun – I’m a big fan of playing Tetris or solving puzzles!
11. Acknowledge the healthy choices that I make for myself
13. Take a class to learn something new
15. Celebrate small things – Why not celebrate your half birthday this year?
