This is one of the many recipes of the Golden Paste that can be found online. Essentially they all are very similar. You will need:

1/2  cup turmeric powder– (if possible,  use organic powder)
1 cup water or more to get desired paste consistency (around 1/2 cup more, in our case)
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/3 cup  organic coconut oil

Directions:

1.  Mix water with turmeric powder in a pan and slowly heat it up and stir for 7-10 minutes until you get a thick paste (add the additional ½ cup water if it is too thick).
2. Add black pepper and oil, and continue stirring until all the ingredients are fully mixed in together.
3.  Allow the paste to cool.

You can keep your paste in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Turmeric, known for its anti-inflammatory properties, has been used medicinally for over 4, 000 years: it is  claimed to be excellent for arthritis, skin health, digestion, immune system, and even cancer.
The common suggestion is to take 1/2 of the teaspoon twice a day.
There are many, MANY, MANY uses of the Golden Paste- we will mention a few:
stir it into yogurt for breakfast, add  it to your dinner plate as a condiment, make “Turmeric tea” (add 1/4 teaspoon of the paste to a hot cup of already-brewed tea, add honey, maybe a splash of almond milk, and your  heathy turmeric tea is ready), add it to your rice (add 1 or more teaspoons after you have cooked the rice while still warm which enables smooth mixing), add to smoothies  (no limit to innovations you can do here! Have fun with it!), add to meat dishes and hot soups (simply add a dollop of golden paste  to your preparations), make the turmeric honey – as some may not like turmeric paste’s taste by itself, adding honey makes the job easy… And, yes, of course,  then there is the Golden milk – add  your paste to warm or cold milk. Golden turmeric milk is one of the most popular ways to take turmeric daily.  Enjoy!
